Fashion Doll Stool/Pillow Pattern

Free from www.MrsStitch.com

Two colors noted on graph for beads mean Peach flower/Green bead for center of flower (Green = Jade).

Uses less than a half sheet of 7 mesh plastic canvas, 2 mm jade (small green on graph) and 6 mm jade and lavender beads, also light jade & purple yarn, finally cotton balls.

Flower beads were in a multi-pack by The Beadery. It had different size and color flowers. Can be found at most craft stores. 3 peach flower beads shown on graph and picture.

For Stool-

Work 5 pieces left graph and 1 of right graph. This pattern is sewn together in a cube shape with a square on all sides. Can be used as a stool, flower pot, or decorative side table. For flower pot just use the flower side on the top. For stool and table lay flower side on front side (see photo).

For pillow-

Work 1 of each graph. Then stitch together back to back. Leave one side open and stuff cotton balls in until it is to your liking and finish stitch around the pillow.

General-

For flower beads use 2 or 1 ply yarn (or 4ply split into 2 & 1 ply). Take needle up under canvas where dot indicates. Place the flower bead on the needle (place flower facing up). Then place center bead on the same strand. Then bring needle back down through the center of the flower bead. Next continue to attach rest of beads. Yarn color should vary per bead color or center bead color.

Note: 1 ply is sensitive to breaking. use care when attaching beads with 1 ply.

For children old enough to know not to swallow beads when loose.
